Church Secretary

We are currently seeking a part-time Church Secretary to join our team. This position would require a minimum of 20 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 2:00pm. The Church Secretary position will provide support for the Pastor as well as other Ministry Leaders in the church.  The qualified applicant will be a regular attendee of a Church and familiar with the Christian Church and seeking to work in a Christian work setting. 


Primary Duties:

  • Maintaining a modern office
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Preparing church bulletins & church letters
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Patient & creative
  • Flexible& dependable
  • Have discretion and confidentiality
  • Good at building relationships
  • Team oriented and ability to collaborate
  • The ability to work independently

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient with Gmail and Google Calendar
  • Ability to learn online tools such as Dropbox, Evernote, Church Management Software, and ability to update the Church website and online database. 
  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (required)
  • Office Administration: 1 year minimum (required)
