OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

The Samaritan's Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts-filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items - and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way.

For many of these children, the gift-filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT THIS YEAR.

Because of your faithfulness, we collected 1,141 boxes!

HOW IT WORKS:

PACKING

Throughout the year, Calvary Baptist Church receives donations to assist us with our annual shoebox packing event. This is a family event, so people of all ages pack shoebox gifts to bless children in need around the world.

Parents often use the project to teach their kids about giving. Year-round volunteers support these efforts across the country.

COLLECTING

We also serve as a drop-off location for shoeboxes the third week in November. For your convenience and safety, we will be offering curbside drop-off.

Stay tuned for more information!

SHIPPING

Each year, Calvary joins with thousands of volunteers to inspect and prepare shoeboxes for international shipping. Every hour work stops for a few minutes to pray for the children who will receive the boxes.

WORLDWIDE DISTRIBUTION

Long before shoeboxes arrive in more than 100 countries, volunteer National Leadership Teams train pastors and community leaders who want to share the message of the Gospel and bless children. The leaders learn how to host child-friendly outreach events, and how to implement The Greatest Journey follow-up discipleship program.
